Shibuya
After dropping off our bags at the hotel ahead of check-in time, we headed to Shibuya to get some lunch at Uobei, a cheap conveyer sushi restaurant that has a larger than usual number of non-fish sushi options, as well as some hot options like chicken karaage. We’re not big sea food fans, so this suits us better than a fancy sushi restaurant! You order on a tablet and once prepared, the dish zooms down the track and stops in front of you.
Shinjuku
After attempting a bit of shopping in Shibuya whilst far too tired from our flight (we were trying to locate a particular portable printer for travel journaling that was going to be my birthday present), we headed to Shinjuku where a branch of BicCamera was showing it as in stock on their website. We managed to find the little printer and also got to see the new 3D cat billboard next to Shinjuku station.
Marunouchi
We had an evening walk around the Christmas lights in Maranuchi, before ending the day with dinner at Torikizoku, lots of tasty yakitori – grilled chicken skewers (I need to remember to take better food photos in future!)
