We started the day by having a lazy morning at the hotel. In the daytime we could see that our room was right on the seafront.
Ozu
In the afternoon we drove to the small city of Ozu. We walked around the old town area.
We stopped at Aoi Cafe to have some lunch. They had rolls of grilled local pork and I had a matcha latte
Garyu Sanso Villa
We headed towards the river and visited Garyu Sanso Villa.
We were able to have a look around the main villa building.
There were also some small gardens and tea houses to explore, and the autumn leaves were at peak colour.
After visiting the villa, we walked back through the old town to a large bridge over the river looking towards the reconstructed castle.
Once dark we drove back to the hotel, stopping at some shops along the way. Since we’d had a late lunch, we just picked up some food from a conbini to have in the room later on.
