Keflavik
After arriving in Iceland we picked up the car, found a supermarket for supplies and then headed to our first hotel, a 2hr drive away.
Alaskan lupins were in flower everywhere so we pulled over to take some photos!
Hraunfossar and Barnafos
After checking into our hotel and having some dinner, we headed back out and went for a walk around Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. Hraunfossar is a rather unique waterfall because it is made up of lots of little falls formed from water that has been running through a huge lava field, so it looks like the water just comes out of the rocks. Barnafoss is a normal type of waterfall a little further up the river that Hraunfossar is flowing into.
