Kaldbak lakes
We walked from the hotel to Kaldbak lakes just south of Husavik.
There were so many birds nesting all around the lakes

We then walked back to Husavik and had some fish and chips at the harbour
Whale watching
We then had an evening Whale watching trip. Whilst the wind had dropped and the harbour looked still, we had a pretty rough trip out to sea, and turns out, it’s quite hard to spot whales and then try and take a photo with a telephoto lens whilst swaying all over the place! However I did get some good ones after some straightening up of the horizons.
We saw 5 different humpback whales multiple times, including two that were hanging out together, which is apparently rare. There were also some White Beaked dolphins jumping about, but they were too quick for me.
Midnight sun
As it was such a clear, sunny night we decided to head north out of the town until we found a spot to watch the sun *not* set at midnight
